Great Britain Hockey Inline is the governing body for inline skater hockey, operating a range of leagues and tournaments across the UK for all ages and abilities.

National Ice Skating Association

The National Ice Skating Association is a British organisation that is responsible for the development of ice skating events and the assessment of learning ice skaters in the UK. It also functions as a mechanism for hiring coaches to teach ice skating in rinks around the UK.

Ice Hockey UK

Ice Hockey UK (IHUK) is the national governing body of the sport of ice hockey in the United Kingdom. Affiliated to the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), IHUK is the internationally recognised umbrella body in the United Kingdom. IHUK was created to replace the British Ice Hockey Association.

The organisation is responsible to the IIHF for the good order of the sport in the UK. The IHUK is charged with ensuring that all overseas players are properly cleared to play and that the rules and by-laws of the IIHF are upheld.

Ice Hockey UK runs the national team, British national ice hockey team also known as Team GB.

English Curling Association

The English Curling Association was formed in 1971 and its ladies branchin 1979. It is a full member of the European Curling Federationand the World Curling Federation and is also a member of British Curling, the company which has been formed to manage Great Britain's Olympic and Paralympic curling programmes.

The English Curling Association aims to support, promote and develop the sport of curling in England, to unite curlers throughout England in the brotherhood of curling, to regulate the affairs of its members and to represent its members on International confederations. It also sends teams to major International competitions.

The Executive Council of the ECA includes representatives from all areas of the country and of its ladies branch and includes a National Development Director, who works to find new venues where the sport can be played. Currently curling can only be played at one location in England, Fenton's Rink, Dundale Farm, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, but the Association hopes that further venues will be found as a result of Britain's participation in the Olympic Games.

iceSheffield is owned by Sheffield International Venues. SIV runs 14 venues which offer the very best in sports and entertainment across Sheffield and are used by professionals and the local community.

Dundee Ice Arena

The Dundee Ice Arena is a state of the art multi-purpose arena offering excellent facilities for all ice sports as well as function rooms which can cater for meetings and conferences, private functions, weddings etc

Aberdeen Linx Ice Arena

The Linx Ice Arena is one of Scotland's premier ice rinks. It was first opened for public use on 1st February 1992 and operates everyday of the year except Christmas and New Years day (Subject to yearly changes). In March 2008 the ice arena closed to allow a major refurbishment to be carried out. The Linx Ice Arena re-opened in December 2009 and hosted the European Curling Championships.

The Linx Ice Arena facilities consist of a national sized ice pad measuring 56 x 26 metres, with spectator seating capacity for 1,118 spectators. A cafeteria operates within the facility during Thursday and Friday evenings and at weekends.

Planet Ice

Planet Ice has ice skating locations in Basingstoke, Cardiff, Coventry, Gosport, Hemel Hempstead, the Isle of Wight, Milton Keynes, Norwich and Peterborough.

Somerset House Ice Rink

Somerset House ice rink celebrated its 10th birthday in 2009. Meet in the Skate Cafe & Bar to enjoy a celebratory drink or visit the Tiffany Tuck shop where jewelry, cupcakes and other treats are on offer. A calendar of special events includes Breakfast with Tiffany, DJ nights and family mornings. Open all day and into the night, Somerset House ice rink is London's favorite winter tradition.

The rink is open all year and welcomes visitors 7 days a week for public skating and can offer a full size ice pad with seating for 800 spectators. Located conveniently just off the M2 at Junction 4 the rink offers everything you could want for a fun day out.
