Fully Financed Solar Solutions
Our solar energy solutions can be fully financed, meaning customers pay nothing upfront.
This allows your facility to benefit from reduced energy usage and improved efficiency without the need for capital investment at the start of the project.

Example Project
A recent proposal for an ice rink featured a 600kWp solar PV installation, generating approximately 538MWh of electricity annually and supplying around third of the site’s annual energy demand.
Delivered through a fully funded Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) over 25 years, the system required no upfront capital investment, with the customer simply purchasing the electricity generated on-site at a rate significantly lower than typical grid electricity prices.
Over the lifetime of the agreement, the project was forecast to deliver approximately £2.4 million in electricity cost savings, while reducing reliance on grid-supplied power and helping protect the facility against future energy price increases.
With a fully funded PPA, the funding partner manages the entire project, including design, installation, regulatory approvals, monitoring and ongoing maintenance, allowing the customer to benefit from lower energy costs without the need for capital expenditure.
Solar Feasibility Study
Ice Tech UK can provide an initial assessment of your site’s suitability for solar energy in partnership with Westwood Energy.
Where Westwood Energy believes there is genuine project potential, and the appropriate stakeholders and decision-makers have been identified, a detailed site feasibility study can be commissioned for £1,000. This fee is fully refundable against any subsequent project order.
The Feasibility Study will include:
- Analysis of electricity consumption and demand profiles.
- Remote roof suitability and electrical infrastructure assessment.
- Desktop solar PV design.
- System performance and energy generation projections.
- Financial appraisal with business case and funding options.
- Expert support and guidance throughout from Westwood Energy.
