Ice Tech UK

October 2024

Following severe flooding, the existing ice floor suffered extensive damage and required complete replacement. Ice Tech UK led the reinstatement project, removing the damaged floor and installing a new ICEGRID cooling floor system. This modern solution improved thermal performance, increased operational efficiency, and enhanced long-term reliability. Despite a demanding programme, the team completed the works within just a few months, allowing the facility to reopen for public skating and ice sports activities.

As part of the project, Ice Tech UK supplied new ice paints and custom rink logos before completing a full ice build to restore the rink to a professional standard. In addition, JRG Productions delivered a new arena lighting system, creating a brighter, more modern environment while improving visibility across the ice.

Together, these upgrades transformed the flood-damaged facility into a modern, energy-efficient ice rink. The new ICEGRID floor, enhanced lighting, and professionally finished ice surface have created a reliable, future-ready venue that continues to serve the local community with high-quality skating conditions for years to come.
